Police Brutality Settlement

Off duty police rough up a guy in a bar.  This is happened, oh, about ten zillion times over the course human history.  But you have to be careful who you rough up.  In Nevada, a federal agent will get $42,500 from the city of Henderson in the settlement of a lawsuit in which the agent claims he was beat up by local off-duty police in a bar.  Plaintiff's lawsuit alleged that while playing pool in a bar in 2007,  three on-duty officers came up to him beat him up.  There was no ticket or arrest, just a beat down.  Usually, the police win this battle of crediblity.  But not against a federal agent.
